IMAC is building a national network of Indigenous journalists, broadcasters, publishers, and storytellers. This work is grounded in connection, shared purpose, and a commitment to strengthening Indigenous media across the country.
There will be multiple ways to get involved as IMAC grows, including membership, gatherings, and opportunities to contribute to sector-wide initiatives.
Who This Is For
IMAC is for Indigenous people working in media in all its forms, including journalism, broadcasting, podcasting, film, digital storytelling, and emerging platforms.
It is also for Indigenous-led media organizations and collectives working at the community, regional, and national levels.
Membership
IMAC will be launching a membership model that reflects the diversity and interconnected nature of Indigenous media. Membership will provide opportunities to connect with others in the sector, contribute to collective advocacy efforts, and help shape the future of Indigenous media in Canada.
More information on membership will be available soon.
